Who We Are

Founded by Genevieve Embler and Corling & Co. we are a passionate group of people who believe in the power of word of mouth, and want to see it restored to its glory days.

We are people who buy everything from cars to coffee because someone close to us recommended it personally and passionately.

In late 2019, tired of trying to wade through reviews from sweepstakes and paid partnerships with instagram influencers, Genevieve longed for one simple place to turn to to hear from others about what they loved most and why. So she got off of social media and decided to dedicate all those little nuggets of spare time in 2020 to the launch of The Loyalist.

She is personally responsible for at least 15 new Nespresso machine purchases, hundreds of new Avett Brothers fans, and at least one new Volvo purchase.

But she also recalls her own longings to attend a certain college after a never ending childhood filled with stories about what it meant to her dad, despite the fact that it was…for men only. While she never got to go there, she still considers it like a member of her own family due to the clear ways it shaped family tradition, and she knew there would be others out there with those same stories to share.
